Malka Wallick (she/they) grew up in the Modern Orthodox community in Brooklyn, where she spent her youth eating too much candy on Purim and blasting the Spice Girls. Now an East Village based multi-hyphenate creative, Malka’s work explores the intersection of the Jewish, Queer, and Girlhood experiences. Her feature film "Our Bodies & Other Shames" was a finalist with the 2023 Sundance Development Lab and is slated to shoot October '24. When she's not creating art, you can find her in bed cuddling her pups Hal & Hotspur, sipping on a good scotch and reading a good book.
