Anna Paone

Anna Paone (she/her) is an actor, writer, and director living in Sunnyside, Queens. In 2014 she co-founded a community theatre company with her mom in New Jersey, which is still going strong. Pre-COVID, she acted in many plays in both NJ and NYC; currently, she produces and acts in her husband Matt Levy's comedic short films and sketches, including festival darlings "We Regret to Inform You" and "The Michael C. Jordan Theory." She wrote, directed, and acted in the short films "Our Lady of the '80s" and "In Metuchen." A graduate of the University of Michigan's film program with a sub-concentration in screenwriting, she's always busy with a creative project. Most recently, she worked as the development director at a nonprofit theatre in Queens. However, she has used being the mom to a toddler as an excuse to drop out of the corporate world, freelance, and go back to her old love of tour guiding. Will sing Sondheim for tips!
