On Saturday, December 13, 2025, we will not be able to hold our weekly Literary Pub Crawl, as our guides will be hiding in their apartments from a drunken terror that will be unleashed upon the bars and streets of the Village, colloquially known as SantaCon. As rivers of beer, bodily fluids, and polyester costumes will consume human decency, we recommend staying inside, locking your doors, closing your windows, sealing your chimney flues from imposters, and settling down with a book (or two) that is cluttering your nightstand.
